Our Origin Story - How CJP Was Born
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was born from a single controversial remark by the Chief Justice of India that exposed the truth about how India's establishment views its youth. In a public statement, the CJI compared unemployed youth to cockroaches, saying: "There are youngsters like cockroaches, who don't get any employment or have any place in profession. Some of them become media, some of them become social media, RTI activists and other activists and they start attacking everyone." Instead of feeling insulted, we embraced it. They called us cockroaches for demanding jobs, questioning corruption, and using RTI to expose scams. We didn't cry. We didn't beg for apologies. We built a national movement. Because if surviving in a system designed to crush us makes us cockroaches, then we wear that badge with pride. CJP Network Bihar is the Bihar chapter of this national movement, representing every unemployed engineer, every struggling graduate, every youth labeled as "lazy" for asking uncomfortable questions about India's development and governance.
