About Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) - India's Youth Movement

Born from a Chief Justice of India's controversial remark about unemployed youth, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is a bold national political satire movement. CJP Network Bihar represents the voice of unemployed youth, students, and activists across all 38 districts of Bihar. We are the forgotten youth of India - engineers, graduates, and dreamers labeled as "cockroaches" for questioning corruption, demanding jobs, and fighting for accountability. We don't just survive - we thrive, resist, and persist.

Our Origin Story - How CJP Was Born

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was born from a single controversial remark by the Chief Justice of India that exposed the truth about how India's establishment views its youth. In a public statement, the CJI compared unemployed youth to cockroaches, saying: "There are youngsters like cockroaches, who don't get any employment or have any place in profession. Some of them become media, some of them become social media, RTI activists and other activists and they start attacking everyone." Instead of feeling insulted, we embraced it. They called us cockroaches for demanding jobs, questioning corruption, and using RTI to expose scams. We didn't cry. We didn't beg for apologies. We built a national movement. Because if surviving in a system designed to crush us makes us cockroaches, then we wear that badge with pride. CJP Network Bihar is the Bihar chapter of this national movement, representing every unemployed engineer, every struggling graduate, every youth labeled as "lazy" for asking uncomfortable questions about India's development and governance.

Why Satire?

Because humor is the only weapon left when the system takes everything else. We use satire not to mock, but to expose. To point out the absurdity of a democracy where farmers commit suicide while billionaires get tax breaks. Where students protest peacefully and get lathi-charged, but hate speech rallies get police protection. Where asking "where did the PM CARES money go?" makes you anti-national.

The Youth of India

We are 65% of India's population. We are engineers driving Uber. We are MBAs delivering food. We are PhD holders preparing for UPSC for the 5th time. We are told to "adjust" when jobs don't exist. To "be patient" when inflation eats our savings. To "respect elders" when those elders sold our future for electoral bonds. We are not lazy. We are exhausted. Exhausted from fighting a rigged game where merit doesn't matter, only connections do.

What Makes Us Different

Traditional parties promise "vikas." We promise accountability. They promise temples and statues. We promise jobs and education. They promise nationalism. We promise actual governance. We don't have a 50-year political dynasty. We don't have crores in electoral bonds. We don't have TV channels running our PR. What we have is truth. Uncomfortable, inconvenient truth. And a refusal to shut up about it.

Our Mission

To give a voice to the voiceless. To question the unquestionable. To hold power accountable, no matter which party holds it. We are not here to rule. We are here to remind those in power that they work for us, not the other way around. We are the Cockroach Janta Party because we survive. We adapt. We persist. And we will outlast every attempt to silence us.

Join the Movement

This is not a party. This is a movement. A movement of every student who took a loan for education and got unemployment in return. Every farmer who grows the nation's food but can't afford to feed their family. Every woman told to "adjust" instead of being heard. Every Dalit, Muslim, Adivasi told they don't belong in "their own" country. We are all cockroaches in the eyes of the establishment. And together, we are unstoppable.
